Cal Ferrer del Castell is an old masia (Catalan farmhouse) and forge that was built inside the walls of the ancient Espolla castle. It is located in a quiet village in the region of Alt Empordà and very close to the Albera Natural Park, in the eastern side of the Pyrenees and near many natural, cultural and leisure spots.

The building has been restored following the original architecture while providing the guests with the highest comfort. It offers 5 double rooms with air-conditioning and bathroom, where up to 11 people can be accommodated.

The kitchen has fireplace, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and all the necessary utensils. In the living room, the guests may enjoy reading books, playing games, watching satellite TV or listening to music. The terrace is the perfect place to eat, sunbathe or simply stare into the stunning views of the surroundings of Espolla. The house also provides a laundry room.

The fireplace can be used for barbequing, and there is also a space outside specially designed for this purpose. The village of Espolla is renowned for the quality of its meat.

Besides, the local swimming pool is located only 150 m from the house, whereas a picnic area can be found only 1 km away.
